Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of this website and of the request service offered on it, operated by AuthenitcBrand, LLC. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What this service is

Reno Flooring Pro is a referral service for flooring help in the Reno/Sparks area — not a flooring contractor. We do not perform flooring installation, refinishing, or repair work of any kind. We connect homeowners with independent, licensed Nevada flooring companies who do the actual work.

Nothing on this site is an offer to perform flooring work, a bid, a quote, or an estimate. Reno Flooring Pro does not install, repair, inspect, or supervise flooring work, does not employ flooring contractors, and does not hold itself out as a licensed contractor. Any contract for work is formed directly between you and the independent company you choose to hire.

3. Information on this site is research, not advice

Cost ranges, permit information, climate/code summaries, and license information published here are research, presented with their sources and the dates they were checked. They are not a quote, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the authority that actually decides the question.

Cost figures are compiled from published third-party sources and describe typical ranges, not your project. Only a flooring contractor who has seen your property can price it. Reno-specific per-square-foot ranges (hardwood, LVP/vinyl, laminate, carpet, tile) are compiled from a September 2026 Reno-market pull covering hundreds of local quotes, including a 778-quote hardwood-specific dataset standardized to a 1,282 sq ft home (RENO-017). Where no Reno-specific figure exists — hardwood floor refinishing — the range shown is a national proxy (Angi, updated July 2026) and is labeled as national, not local, wherever it appears. Ranges are materials + labor for a typical installation and do not include subfloor repair, furniture moving, or old-flooring removal/disposal unless stated. Rechecked quarterly.
Permit and code information is summarized from City of Reno, City of Sparks, and Washoe County published material as of the dates shown. Codes and departmental rules change without notice — confirm with the relevant office before you build.
License classification and status information is summarized from the Nevada State Contractors Board's published material and public license search. Verify any specific contractor's license yourself at https://app.nvcontractorsboard.com.

4. Independent contractors

Companies that receive requests through this site are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of Reno Flooring Pro, and Reno Flooring Pro does not control their pricing, scheduling, workmanship, licensing, insurance, or conduct.

Companies we pass requests to report holding an active Nevada NSCB flooring license — C-16a (Covering Floors) for carpet, hardwood, LVP, and laminate, and/or C-20 (Tiling) for ceramic and stone tile — plus insurance. A single company may need both, depending on what materials it installs. Verify any contractor yourself at app.nvcontractorsboard.com before hiring — and confirm the business name on any paperwork or deposit check matches their license exactly. (NV Residential Recovery Fund claims have been denied over exactly this kind of name mismatch — NV-006.) Vet any company yourself before you hire it, and read any contract before you sign it. Reno Flooring Pro makes no warranty, express or implied, about any independent company or about the work it performs.

5. SMS program

Reno Flooring Pro operates a text messaging program for people who ask to be contacted about a flooring quote request.

Program name and sender. Reno Flooring Pro.
How you join. By ticking the consent checkbox on a request form on this site and submitting the form. Consent is never assumed, never pre-ticked, and never required in order to submit a request or to be matched with a flooring company.
What you receive. Messages about the request you submitted — confirming details, arranging a call, and following up.
Message frequency. Varies, depending on your request and your replies.

6. How to stop messages, and how to get help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. To rejoin, submit a new request and tick the consent checkbox again.

7. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Reno Flooring Pro does not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving them according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

8. Carrier liability

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and to network availability, and neither Reno Flooring Pro nor any carrier guarantees that a message will be delivered or delivered on time. Supported carriers may change without notice.

9. Age restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, to submit a request, and to opt in to text messages. By doing any of those things you confirm that you are 18 or over. This site is not directed at children.

10. Using the site properly

Submit accurate information, and only for a property you own or are authorized to arrange work for.
Do not submit another person's contact details without their permission.
Do not use the site to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it.
Do not scrape or republish the research on this site as your own.

11. Calls and recording

Phone numbers published here, once live, may be tracked, and calls may be recorded or transcribed. How that works, and Nevada's all-party consent requirement for recording, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual property

The text, research, tables, and design of this site belong to AuthenitcBrand, LLC and are protected by copyright. You may read, print, and share links for personal, non-commercial use. Republishing substantial portions, or reusing them commercially, requires written permission. Statutes, regulations, and other government material referenced here remain the property of their issuing bodies.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

This site and the request service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Reno Flooring Pro does not warrant that the information here is complete, current, or error-free, nor that any request will result in a match, a quote, or a completed project.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AuthenitcBrand, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, arising from your use of this site or from any dealing between you and an independent flooring company. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Indemnity

You agree to hold AuthenitcBrand, LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of this site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of anyone else.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under them will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Washoe County, Nevada.

16. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always posted here with its effective date at the top, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
